Governance & team

The people who make a Lusaka plan reach an Itezhi-Tezhi classroom

Several of our directors and advisors hold current posts inside the Ministries of Education in Zambia and Malawi. That is not incidental — it is the mechanism.

A message from our director

“I remember walking alone to schools”

MCUSzambia was born out of a passion to serve humanity. In the early days I walked to schools alone, conducting talks and workshops, pouring my heart out to any child who would listen. I recall the rain-soaked day the taxi broke down and a colleague and I walked the rest of the way to Crested Crane Academy, determined not to miss the appointment.

What brings me the greatest joy is our developing partnership with the Government of Zambia. From 2025 to 2032 we will work hand in hand with the government to bring mathematics and science teachers from around the world, provide nutritious meals to hungry learners, and ensure access to clean water.

I invite you to join us. Let us show these children that they matter, that their lives have purpose, and that they deserve to thrive.
